1. Nature of materials
The hopper type should be selected according to the humidity and viscosity of materials. Since the bucket elevator uses gravity to discharge materials, it is not suitable to use the bucket elevator for conveying materials with viscosity, because the materials will stick to the hopper, which will affect the conveying effect.
2. Charging method
Scoop out type: the hopper is scooped and loaded in the material, used for conveying powder, particles and small pieces of bulk material without grinding or half grinding.
Inflow type: the material flows directly into the hopper and is used to transport the material with large blocks and large grinding capacity.
3. Discharging method
Gravity unloading: Gravity is greater than centrifugal force, material will move along the inner wall of the bucket.
Suitable for small and dense materials.
Centrifugal unloading: the centrifugal force value is much higher than the gravity value. The material in the hopper moves along the outer edge of the hopper and is thrown out from the outer edge. It is suitable for dry, powdery, granular and small materials with better fluidity.
Mixed unloading: there is little difference between centrifugal force value and gravity value, and the material is discharged from the entire material surface in the hopper. The unloading characteristic is between centrifugal type and gravity type, which is suitable for conveying moist powder and granular materials with poor fluidity.
